MONTHLY HIGHLIGHT IN TN MONTHLY PASSPORT SIZE (006). I love the small format of passport-size to document and summarize my months. I also use tip-ins to create additional space to write and print small photos I displayed in an accordion-fold style to maximize the small space. I am used to working on regular and A5 journals, so working in such a tiny space is challenging, but it's good to flex my creative muscle 💪

I also notice that in my summary of each month, I talked a lot about the ups and downs of my mental state and emotional well-being. I didn't mean it for this monthly journal to be that way, but when I wrote, I realized that my mental state could really tell me about what I went through on a particular month. Acknowledging the ups and downs then writing them down allow me to see what is happening inside of me and then devise a plan to do something about it.

This year, going back into my daily scripting habit has helped me tremendously. I even keep a special journal for this 🙆🏻 I am always in love with words, so maybe that's why writing my future, dreams, hopes, and aspirations always fill me up with joy and energy.

Started working on my TN passport again.

When to use a smaller journal:

- You don't have a lot of time to journal. Smaller journal fills up quickly, so you can spend less time to finish a page.

- You feel overwhelmed by blank pages/spaces. When the space is small, even pasting a Polaroid photo has already taken up so much space and you are not facing the fear of the blank page that much.

- You don't want to write a lot and only want to capture highlights of your day in a few sentences.
