D surprised me with a visit to The Book Exchange before we headed to the office. I spent the whole week either reading or processing the 400+ open orders that made me feel nervous.
I wrapped up Our Wives Under the Sea and A Room of One's Own. We left Italy and returned to Amsterdam, had our first pop-up shop experience at the Dutch Pen Show, then celebrated my 42nd birthday.
I finished The Waves this week. We went down to Italy for D's 100-km Il Passatore race and stayed at a beautiful farm stay in Brisighella, overlooking the rolling hills.
I am an Indonesian writer/artist/illustrator and stationery web shop owner (Cafe Analog) based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I love facilitating writing/creative workshops and retreats, especially when they are tied to self-exploration and self-expression. In Indonesian, 'beradadisini' means being here. So, here I am, documenting life—one word at a time.
